The founder had his best night’s sleep at a resort abroad during a conference trip. As an engineer he wondered why such comfortable mattresses were not available in India?
1992
In pursuit of his dreams, he handcrafted the first mattress in India with nearly a thousand individually pocketed coil nestled deep inside.
1994
Snoozer® finally came into existence & commenced manufacturing small batches of pocket coil mattresses for the first time in India.
1996
India’s most discerning hotelier gave it a thumbs up and the famed The Oberoi Rajvilas was the first hotel in the country to be outfitted with Snoozer® mattresses.
2004
The word of the mouth spreads about this niche’ company making exceptionally good mattresses resulting in the majority of the Five Star hotel chains in India choosing Snoozer®.
2008
Snoozer® moves into the premium retail mattress market through select dealers nationwide & changes the sale from pushy salesman offering confusing choices to an experiential one by displaying full sized mattresses in a ‘shop-in-shop’ format, enabling customers to take a “Rest Test”.
2017
Snoozer® builds India’s largest State-of-the-Art plant spread over seven acres in the peaceful and pollution-free state of Himachal Pradesh.
